I have had a slight engine problem that I have found is due to my nice bling Aeromotive regulator (pile of rubbish, the fuel pump got binned a few years back). The regulator is now unable to regulate to anything adjusted to for long and leaks fuel out the top of the adjuster, nice.

So I am looking for a good, reliable, adjustable replacement and was wondering what all you LS boys use, any input would be very much appreciated.

I also use Aeromotive (bugger) I did notice that when I start up it holds 62lbs then as things start to get hot it gradually creeps up a few lbs. I have an fuel pressure screen on the dash as I started to get paranoid about fuel pumps!!

Sorry to scare you Graham, maybe it is just my luck with Aeromotive (but i've heard things said about them before - and they are not overly good things...). I had suspected something for a while, but just not used the car much to worry, pulling off when leaving Stoneleigh made me start thinking again!

I have an Aeromotive regulator which was new when I rebuilt the car. The original one was faulty, and yes, it was an Aeromotive.

I have a pressure sensor and temp sensor plumbed into it so I can monitor things, and all stable so far.

.... Tis one of the basics of modern high pressure EFI .. consistent fuel pressure and probably will increase as tech advances.

I would think a basic mechanical valve and downstream pressure gauge would be more consistent than the bling all in one units ? With the pressure set to maintain the optimum at max demand in this installation.

Has anybody used the FSE/Sytec units?

These are the people you need to speak to Glencoe they supply just about everyone (inc F1 teams) with pumps etc...
I spoke to them about my system and went down there to pick up my new fuel pump the Friday before Stoneleigh! The guy was very knowledgable showed me a few pumps that could work with what I wanted to do and I left there with the confidence that it would work.
I think his name was Norman but can't be sure now (memory not that good)
These would be guys I would go to now for anything fuel related.
