Well, after long and careful deliberation, test driving various so-called 'supercars', I've finally decided what my next car will be.

After the success of ultima-gtr.info, it would really have been far too rude not to build ultima-canam.info too.

Of course, this has meant ordering another Ultima so that I have something relevant to write about

So stay tuned for the next installment in the Stig series of car building - my Ultima CanAm!!

So it'll be the Amerspeed 377 ci 700 hp engine then?

Go on, you know it makes sense

Details will appear soon, but spec. probably isn't what you'd expect

Great to have you back in the Ultima camp. It must be in your blood now you have been away such a short time.
Two Canam in the area, nice, I guess it will not be yellow, or is it back in fashion.
Will she who must be obeyed choose.

My website is in the gestation period (learning HTML, FrontPage etc...)
I have just finished panelling the cockpit, starting on the floors tonight.
I guess that I would have finished half the car when I eventually get the site up and running, but I have been taking notes and loads of photos.

Graham.
(Trying to build a CanAm and document it at the same time. Must go on that time management course!)

I'll never understand how Stig managed to do that much building and that much typing in the timeframe...

I reckon he either had a team of mechanics or a team of secretarys!

Good luck on the new project Stig. Not sure about the new colour...blue is still the best

Very interested in the spec for your new beast. Is it going to have a Toyota Prius hybrid drivetrain...but with a big stereo running a V8 simulator to keep Ted happy???

As an aside: If anyone is interested in setting up a build website but doesn't have the time to do all of the web authoring, isntalling new software, etc, etc. You might want to consider setting up a weblog using a free service like Blogger LiveJournal or 20six. These make it very easy to produce a chronological build diary like website. They also offer lots of geeky features like RSS feeds which allow people to subscribe to your build and be notified when you post a new entry. The services above are free and Blogger at least is advert free (run by the good people at Google).

Update to fix dodgy spelling

The software I'm using is a free download from www.cooleosoft.com/ called WebGalleryMate. Simple templates-based system I use as a basic build diary. My site is www.ultimagtr.ca .

Raz - it's the Blue gelcoat as supplied from Ultima. It's a pic of the GTR I built and sold recently.

Good to here, I've fell in Love with Metalic Red, after seeing the Seleen S7 on the Gilette Advert on the Tele. So looks like we Agree on the Colour this time....
Happy Spannering Mate...
