As Ultima buiders, can someone tell me how to import a used engine from the US to the UK. The engine is a motorbike engine, but was wondering whether it was worth doing....eg any idea on costs?

Should'nt be a problem.

My chevy came with BAX global. Check their web site for costs.

Whatever the cost of shipping is, don't forget to add 17.5% VAT and also duty (can't remember what % is though, about 3 or 4 I think?)

The only bike engine worth importing from the states is a Harley. If it's a Japanese engine it must be cheaper to buy one here!

A Harley engine isn't worth walking across the street for, much less SHIPPING anywhere!

But I hear they do come with a free fat chick...
