Hi there would have joined you at the event but last year the organisers were disgraceful towards club cars a lot off noble owners had travelled hundreds off miles and were turned away into public car parks and the guy in charge off security was gonna get the police involved because we took a car in to the show ground that had come over 150 miles to show so at risk off no entry I will not show there again

Well Ultima's you missed an excellent event this year, we had mixed weather on the Sat but Sun was beautiful sunshine and the club area was excellent, they were directing sports cars which weren't club members into the club area which would have overwise been buried in the public car park, there was an Atom, Bentley GT Sports, the new shape Ford GT40 a new Aston Martin Vanquish a stunning Jag XKR in a french blue and many others it was brilliant. The main event was superb,
The Lancaster, Spit and Hurricane fly over was heart stopping the Lancaster flew over about 5 times all low level and the spit, hurricane gave an excellent display.

May I suggest you guys make an effort for next year, weather dependent ?

I went to the first CPOP in the Atom a few yrs back. As it was the first yr, it wasn't overly well run, but I believe it's a lot better now..... I wanted to come across this weekend, but as the DVLA have insisted on inspecting the car, I'm still without numberplates & tax disc frown

I'll be there next year for certain!

Mark,

They insisted on inspecting mine too and I found an article which stated they didn't need to, they don't have a clue.

Go to this link:

http://www.betterregulation.gov.uk/ideas/viewidea....
Print it out and take it to your local office.

I did that and got everything there and then along with an apology.

Good luck smile

Its about another hour from Stoneleigh and there are plenty of camping facilities on site, or my field at home about 3 miles away, or plenty of B+B's it was an excellent event this year the weather really helped.
