Having problems fitting the radiator pipes with the new ali radiator. Looks pretty low next to lower wishbone passenger side.......

This is a pic of another build...I hope they don't mind me using their pic. The exit on the radiator seems to be a lot higher on this pic....there's a good inch clearance between lower wishbone mount and bottom of samco hose................any ideas....is there a geometry problem with my cooling set up somewhere?

As long as it is not actually rubbing on the wishbone then I would leave it where it is.
You will cause more problems in the future if you try and force it somewhere it does not want to be.
A logical thought would be to raise the rad mounting but there is normally little or no extra space from top of rad to underside of the front clip.

I have exactly the same problem. I think it is an issue with the new Ali radiator, and where/the angle the pipe is welded on. I have seen cars with the original radiator and there is a lot more clearance.

I currently have about 10mm clearance. Before I read Steve's post, I was going to fit nylon spacers to lift it another 10mm, but am not sure now. I think this might be one for the factory.

I have a feeling the clearance will not be enough. The factory has the images so we'll see what they say. I am going to have the luggage containers redesigned by a fab company. The factory suggest against lagging the pipes so i'm going to open up the containers by half an inch around the pipes......

There is no room to raise the radiator and the factory supplied rubber mounts would have enough thread on to cope with another 10mm. I had to bend the ali brackets on the rad just to get it to fit.....

I have put the wishbones into the lower mounts. When the wishbones are horizontal they snag the hose......that cant be right as it doesn't allow any movement.....

That certainly doesn't look right to me either.
Concerning the luggage bins, I wonder if the new bins fit better and if they are retro fittable.

I think the luggage racka are the same. I just think there should be mpre clearence between pipe and rack. The big concern is the lower wishbone and radiator pipe......
