Sump gasket

Can anyone tell me if its possible to change the sump gasket on the a/s engines with the engine still in the car.

I doubt it. Depending on depth of your sump, clearance between lwr chassis crossmember and sump kind of tight (1/4" to 3/4"). Best to remove engine for stuff like that, quicker in long run.

had to remove my sump after first run to relieve sump plate had to lift engine up at fromt until sump dropped off about 6 inches can be done but take your time,we have a can-am don,t know about gtr
