Cost versus Current Value
Discussion
The TG thread and the Ultima Classifieds got me thinking.
What is the cost versus sale price now differential. What I am curious about is how do today's advertised prices compare with the cost of building the car 15 or so years ago?
We know that if you finish your build today and sell tomorrow you will be out of pocket. But at what point do we think we will reach parity? 15, 20, 25 years?
I know it will have cost a packet to keep in great order but just curious what other think.

I don't know how much a sport would have cost to build, but the depreciation over a 13/14 year period must be very low, also if you buy a good second hand one for between 35k to 40k your not going to loose a lot depreciation wise.
Just my thoughts Karl.
Ps: Nothing to do with mine being for sale, just an honest opinion!

Ultimas are very niche, there are some very appealing 2nd hand exciting cars for the cost of an Utima, gt3, gt3 RS, challenge stradale at the upper end, all offering arguably better ownership for less excitement more of the time.
The fact it takes so long to sell one, even the good ones nowadays, says it all IMO. Parity never
But that's not what these are about. The right day and there is nothing to touch them.
