This seems to be the way to go to avoid suction problems and to reduce pipework. I gather that a returnless system can be used with a oump speed controller and pressure sensor. FAST efi are now offering this with their aftermarket systems due to the problems many people have with the suction line to external pumps.
Our friends at AB are also offering this.
Does anybody have them installed?

For what it's worth, I now have a Walbro 401 LP lifter pump in the passenger tank feeding a 3 litre swirl pot with a Walbro 450 HP pump in it feeding the rails, my tanks are balanced by a -12 link pipe plus the -6 hose at the bottom of the tanks. This is in a bid to keep the pumps cool and to avoid any fuel starvation.

Yes I have heard/thought of that option. This system has something to do away with the need for a swirl pot. Do you know if the foam in the tanks is in pieces or is it a solid lump?

I agree with in tank pumps, regulators and filters but I didn't learn that lesson until after I had built the GTR. I am in the middle of building a Hot Rod and met a fellow here in the U.S. that made up a complete set up for not a lot of money using all GM parts. To further the thought this is on a two tank system which resides on either side of the drive shaft. the pump sits inside the bottom of the tank on a little plastic piece that holds it just off the bottom with a inlet port on the bottom. then little plastic hoses come off of the side of the pump over to suction points that are placed in the corners of the tank and through the tank cross over to the second tank where more suction points are installed. The output of the pump feeds a single fuel line through a fuel regulator and out to the fuel manifold with no return line. The damn thing is so simple and so unimpressive to look at versus a Aeromotive $400 cad plated pump that you think there's no way this can work. Then he shows you his BIG POWERED LS that motivates his 69 Camaro and talks about 1100 miles and 8 race tracks in 10 days in 100 degree temps on the Hot Rod tour here in the mid western part of the U.S. without problem one and I took back my CAN'T WORK thought. I know on my GTR that the decrease in high dollar braided lines and fittings not necessary for this system would payed for this simpler fuel system. Just a thought. Lee. Anybody that wants to speak to Carl P.M. me and I will send you his phone number
