To save loosing loads of water any idea what the rad switch part number is or the vehicle it comes from.

As I have easy access to the part, I'll have a look for n°s tomorrow morning. You could also try ringing the Factory for info...

The 22mm thread is common across the industry so that bit is easy.
They do come in a variety of operating temperatures which should be stamped on the side of the switch.
Think you may have to remove yours to find out which one you have unless you are confident it is standard factory spec.

Just removed my rad thermostat sender which came from the Factory with the kit.

No name or make on the body, but as SteveD says it's 22mm diameter.
Numbers stamped on the body:
92/87C (open/close temperatures)
200 on one side
2-1003 on the other side
