Not really an Ultima question, but I am sure someone on this site is "into" tyres and might be able to help.
Question: What make of tyres are likly to give the least amount of road noise? My wife has an SLK which is very noisy. Merc suggested the rear tyres (AVONs) were the problem? They said there wasnt any problem with the diff etc, but it sounds just like it. Its been the same for a few thousand miles so it could be just the tyres (I hope!) Anyone got any suggestions for lower road noise tyres?
