I've not yet ordered the wheels for my GTR, but can't put it off much longer! Whilst the factory wheels are presumably the easiest/safest bet, I did fancy something a bit different, and was wondering what might be out there that would fit.
I am aware of Image Wheels, who could presumably make a set and so offer many of the various styles on their website. I am also aware of the Braid wheels which MacG Racing list on their site.
Do you know of any others?

CCW wheels in Daytona Beach Fl. builds some very nice one piece forged rims that are not outlandishly expensive. I have them on my GTR and I am very happy with them. While the factory wheel is the safest bet and that's what I started with the CCWs are a bit lighter and I do not miss trying to keep the three piece rims clean. Lee

My wheels stil in there original boxes and have OZ all aver them. Could it be the centres are sourced by the Factory elsewhere, but the bolt-on rims must certainly be OZ. I don't know (havn't looked in fact)if OZ is stamped someplace on the rims.Originally thought they were OZ, but couldn't find the pattern, then found it on image website.

correct me if i am wrong, but i think the factory wheels used to be made by Image, but not now..Originally thought they were OZ, but couldn't find the pattern, then found it on image website.

Many thanks for the replies all - having done a bit more searching I can now see it's not the first time the question has been asked, so apologies to the regular posters.
The Forgelines look very special. The pricing shown on their website suggests they would work out at about double the cost of the factory rims, though, so it may require another brave moment, or a final attempt to appreciate the finer points of the standard wheels!

I know from some forum threads I read yesterday that there were a few Image buyers that were very disappointed with their purchase, mostly to do with finish. Confusing though... whilst Image still have the exact same pattern as the factory one available on their site right now, OZ (and mine are also stamped OZ) don't show any pattern like it.
So as someone said here, it seems that OZ were commissioned by the factory to take over supply of this pattern some year back...

I have the factory supplied Oz wheels and 2 sets of Image wheels bought separately. The Oz wheels in my opinion are better quality. Image may be able to supply the same centres so they look similar but the rims have a radius lip that turns out and protrudes beyond the tyre which is the first part to catch the curbs (or floor if they are stacked up). The circumference bolts used to secure the wheel together appear to be better quality on the Oz wheel.
The rims on my Oz wheels are more flush and tend to scrub the tyre against the curb (When the wife is driving – I wouldn’t do that

Image are a good economical alternative if you need a second set for track.

The current factory wheels are their own spec billet centres with OZ supplied inner and outer rims.
My GTR has the earlier Image wheels which look almost identical to current with the exception of dish depth, it would appear that earlier wheels had bigger inner rims and smaller outer rims, the clearance to the brake calipers is bigger ( I can get my hand between the caliper and the wheel centre.
I am also in the market for some one piece wheels, Braid are my first choice but I have to sort the issue of dish depth to work out if the current Braid "Factory equivalent" wheel will fit on my car without clearance issues.

I had a set of wheels made up by Image a couple of years ago. All I will say is that the standard of communication and ability to stick to timescales, the quality of construction in terms of adhering to my specified dimensions and the standard of finish meant, after some discussion, that they went back and I got my money returned.
