Try brute force to splay them a little as you will be tightening the bolt up on the bush insert.

I had exactly the same thing with mine, don't force them they are over size. I contacted the factory with the measurements of the wishbones and they confirmed they were over size, they had a new set deliverd to me by 8:30 the next morning.

I had the same problem recently with the lower rear wishbones. Informed the Factory and they sent me a new set. Apparently they had experienced a batch of parts which were slightly out of measurement. You just need to remove the bushes out of the faulty ones to install in the new ones.

I had the same problem, and gave the measurements of the wishbones to the factory (as I think they initially thought they might be oversize). They confirmed that the wishbones were right, and suggested some 'persuasion' of the brackets (ie. the Storer route).

I was a bit concerned at first, because it appeared a good few mm out, but had a go anyway, averaging out the difference across both lugs, and once all tightened up it appears fine. Fingers crossed...

if you place the wishbone bush underneath the opening is it as bad... im only asking as its pivoting from the otherside in an arc and as it goes in it will naturally move across as well.

Can't get it in at any angle....already had to splay the mountings with a jaw to get the bush in.....dont wish to apply anymore pressure to the mountings. ..I think something is out somewhere....hopefully its not the chassis....

Let me check as I have that info somewhere as I measured to inform the Factory...
Sorry, I can't find trace of my message. I'll get into the workshop later and do the measurements of the oversized and new wishbones.

If I remember correctly mine were about 6mm longer than they should have been. The replacements the factory sent were spot on and fitted so easy after struggling with the others for quite a while.

The inside distance between the bits which sit in the chassis lugs, not including the bushes, is 340mm - hope you can tell what I mean from this bad description - I have tried uploading a photo but can't get it to work....

Matt, I finally got into the workshop this morning. Made some photos of the two type of wishbones. The "bad" ones are those with the poly bushes.

Damn, the photo module is down for the moment. I'll try a bit later....
