Does anyone happen to have the throttle cable length? (from one end of the armored sheath to the other) I would like to replace mine, as here is quite a bit of drag. I have re-routed it several times but I am still not quite satisfied.

Anyway, I would like to keep mine in place to use as a pull for the new cable if possible.

Thanks!

Hi Allen, i got a teflon coated cable from a company in Dorking UK called Venhill Engineering. This is the same place Stig got his replacement from. The phone number is UK 01306885111 and you would need to speak to a guy called Trevor. He has all the measurements and the new cable comes with all the connections on. I think i remember that the sheath is about 1mm thicker than the factory supplied cable. I will also measure the length of the cable later and post that for you as well.

As Dave said, I got Venhill to make up a pattern cable which they can now supply.

However, for info. the length of the cable is approx 3670mm inner/3380mm outer.

Thanks for the measurements and info. There are a couple of places here in Denver that make these cables for the aircraft industry. Shouldn't be too tough to get one made up.

Stig, Is the measurement you have for the sheath without the threaded stud ends (just the sheath)?

Thank you very much!

IIRC, it includes the ends too
