I assume you mean on the track?
Running slicks will put enormous stresses on the drivetrain etc. so you'd need appropriate running gear to cope.
A semi-slick tyre, like the Yokohama AO32r could be run ( know that James ran them on his Sport and so does the new owner), but you'll get through a set in no time. I don't think they make them in the stock rim sizes either (but don't quote me on it)?
Slicks are illegal on the road of course.
Had a long conversation with Richard at the factory regarding this when I got the Canam and the upshot is that the only real area of concern is the suspension, the factory do not recommend slicks unles you have the rose-jointed setup.
I have tried to find the Pilot Sport Cup and several other "semi-slicks" in the stock sizes and so far none are available (mate in the trade too
) but of course if anyone knows differently then

These are available in the correct size
Road-legal, List 1B tyre which has already proved its credentials on the track as the control tyre for the Kumho BMW Championship and the Kumho TVR Tasmin Challenge.

How much difference is a race slick in comparison to a semi slick on traction? Let's say a standard road tire gets a GTR from 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds. What would a race slick and semi slick squeeze out? Also, how long will a semi-sick last driven on the road?

I am running Dunlop Formula Rs on my Sport
I have (16) on the front as standard 8" i think. Had to reduce the rears (17) from 12" to 10 ' to accomodate the sizes available. The loss of width was well made up for in extra grip and it cured the gross understeer . Its easy and relatively cheap to fit an smaller inner rim and the results were great.
Wear like sh** though and you will need hard bushes also
