...was fitted before I started this morning.

Plenty of preparation and a decent riveter later:

Cockpit floor, radiator double skin, battery tray and hopefully throttle cable bracket to fit tomorrow.

Looks great and it certainly gives the impression that you are making use of every hour in a 24h span. At that rate, you should be finished in..., let's say next week?

Somehow I suspect the preparation took a day or two......

Looks good though.

Don't rush, enjoy the build.

Certainly did, two full days of preparation and then pushed forward today. Pretty pleased with the progress.

Looks great, but at this early stage progress always look massive. It appears to slow to nothing the closer you get to completing the build....

It actually has a name 'The Pareto Principle' or '80-20 rule'.

80% of a task can be achieved with 20% effort. The remaining 20% takes the remaining 80% effort to complete the task.

Getting the skins on is however a very satisfying stage so well done.

Looks great! After all that cutting, filing and drilling, it is always a satisfying feeling to start popping some rivets! I see you have gone for the modified chassis to provide extra leg room, too.
