I need some help. Can someone confirm if a 20mm hole needs to be drilled on the side of the poly tunnel in order to line up with the belt fixing holes? The markings on the side (apart from the X mark) came with the part from the Factory.

Thanks smile
Daniel

it has to be cut all the way as per lines indicated in case you need to remove the tunnel without removing the seat belts.

Ah, good thinking. Now I know why the those lines are there. I nearly did cut them out along the lines but I preferred to ask and make sure. Measure twice and cut once as they say... Many thanks thumbup

On the build manual there are pictures showing clearly the slot with seat belts on.

It is a Porsche G96/50 from a 996 Turbo which has been converted to 2wd and inversion mode. It has external oil cooler pickups and a KEP billet diff cover.

Has the design of this GRP tunnel been updated? I found that the GRP is about 15mm wider than the harness bracket on the chassis. That would mean that after fitting the GRP, when the harnesses are then bolted in, their brackets would crush the tunnel inwards.

I got round this by having some 7.5mm stainless spacers machined to hold the brackets flush with the GRP. Maybe the mounting bracket on the chassis has been widened, or the GRP tunnel is narrowed since mine were manufactured, but worth checking.

Heading to the workshop now, so I'll check the spacing and distance when I get the parts adjusted and ready for fitting.
