Question time...

Can someone point me which is the intake and outlet sides on the heater matrix (top or bottom) or it doesn't matter?

Same question for the AC unit. Top looks to be outlet or is it the other way round?

I think that I've got hot water coming INTO the heater matrix on the bottom pipe and then returning to the engine from the top pipe. This is working fine smile I doubt it actually matters which way around they are for the water. I've fitted the electronic heater valve in the flow pipe (bottom pipe) and don't forget to use the H-piece too.

For the AC, I put the narrower pipe with the thermostat thingy on the bottom. The wire probe off the 'stat then wraps around the top fitting and is cocooned in the sticky tar tape. I'd recommend wrapping the metal fittings of both pipes with this stuff to avoid condensation.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the confirmation Mark. When to talk of the H tube junction, I assume that means assembly that part at the back somewhere in the engine bay.

Concerning the AC pipes, mine are conected as you indicate and I also have the black gooey stuff on both pipe ends.

Correct. Daniel!

Sounds like you're on the right path smile
