Have to admit to being well out of date on regulations...
anyone remember what the latest regs are on dipped beams...
are you still allowed headlights that dip to the centre or do they have to dip left?

I would imagine that they need to dip left, or at least to the center enough not to dazzle oncoming drivers.

The IVA regulations allow either the correctly aligned kick up on the nearside or a flat top dip beam.
I don't know for sure but would have to assume the MOT requirement is the same.

just a set of aftermarket motorcyle headlights that are an all in one, main, dipped amd full, so depending on the way I want to setup the headlight pods they may be of interest..
or use the usual hellas..

hi Dom,
they are similar to the ones ~I was looking at,but weremarked as motorcycle lights.
The ebay listing you listed states that flat beam is ok, so either should be ok, which answers my question, cheers.
Will measure up in the morning and play around with a couple of layouts.

Just about to order a set of race numbers and backgrounds for the car and getting a bunch of vinyl sponsors decals cut.. too many timewasters replying to the ad, so its getting pulled this weekend and I think I am just going to keep it....
thats what happens when you have a quick drive an give it a few revs.. wink

Good on you for keeping it. But what is this about getting race numbers and suchlike? Hope it doesn't turn out as a cheap looking ricer. The Ult deserves better IMO
