new odyssey battery

I have had a pc925 Odyssey battery for some time nd it worked well tell my alternator developed an intermittent problem that killed the battery from being discharged to many times. I found a new part number, new to me anyway its a Odyssey pc1150 its rated at 500 cca vs 330 cca on the 925 and its only 1.5 pounds heavier. The PC1150 is taller and longer than the 925 but a couple of minutes in the wood shop fixed that problem. Lee
