Very nice. I like also. I have plans to replace my "peppered with stone chips front clip" with a similiar style to that in the future.
If that has been painted, do you know how the painters prep for painting over gel coat? Many body shops are too scared to paint fibre glass because of paint reactions and paint absorbing into fibre glass etc.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Paul .... Luckily the work was done over the winter so didn't miss the car too much and I do enjoy working on it as well as driving. Im on standby for work next weekend , so will probably have to attend on the Monday.
Jim ... Steve Smith and I did all the prep work for the paint ourselves. Involved a lot of rubbing down to get a good key for the paint. Steve also did a lot of 'bodybuilding' to a) repair a little bit of accident damage ooppss :-( and also to build up certain areas to get body lines flowing a little better. The paint shop then use (i believe) 2 pack base primer and then I had a couple of coats of the red. They could have then lacquered over that as well but I chose not to have that finish.
Craig ... Thanks, I think you probably know the amount of web surfing and contact with different wheel companies I have made over the last six months to actually and then settle on something that I could make fit and look good. I must say I really wasn't sure they were going to work until everything went back together.
Sukhjeevan ...afraid you can't get the splitter straight off the shelf, the box section on the front of the car has to be altered. That bit of the work was kindly done by Steve Smith.

Thanks for the info .. seems they rears are only avail in 9.5" width.Wow thanks Jonny ....... And yours is the best looking racing Ultima I've seen lol.
Prob should have mentioned I'm now on 9.5 x 18 front and 11 x 19 rear.
Still a little bit of interior work to do and then major engine area tidy up next winter.

Dave,
The mod to the front clip is really nice, similar to my previous Ultima. Question, does the front clip hinge open or are those pins that hold the front clip in place? Are the outer sides of the front opening scoops for the brakes? Is it possible to get more photos. I want to modify my current Ultima with a similar design.
Beautiful car and aggressive looking car, great choices on color and wheels too.

Hi Jim, the front clip hinges on the pins but is also bolted through the splitter into the clip. I can hinge it open or remove the pins and lift it off completely to work in that area. The mod to the front clip is really nice, similar to my previous Ultima.
