Is it me here but if you look at the attached we have a crashed GTR which seems to have morphed into an unfinished Can Am, so perhaps not the simple case stated of swopping over onto the new chassis. Not sure the parts would make the 45k mark suggested either??

Yup, appear to be being rebuilt into a Can Am, which makes the rear clam a useless addition (assuming it isn't damaged anyway). £30K seems a bit optimistic given the damage.... I'd be surprised if it doesn't need more parts to finish than suggested.

Almost as much work as starting from scratch, maybe more as things have to be taken off the old chassis, cleaned and checked before fitting.

It will not be 'new' in most peoples mind either.

Value = what someone will pay.

IMO £15k - £18k

A rather bent chassis... Probably some parts can be recuperated and rebuild using a new chassis, but other parts need replacement too. All in it could cost nearly the price of a new one IMO

A bit of Tcut and some bits to hold the entire rear section together , be a like a new one. I'd offer him a grand :-)

if you used a little "race tape " and that colour magic stuff you wouldnt even need to paint it!
