Exhaust Manifold Bolts
Discussion
What's the recommended type of bolts for exhaust header/manifold to head bolts?
Just installed my newly Zircotec headers and want to replace the the current 12.9 Allen socket bolts with something with a hex, but don't want problems down the line.
I won't put in Stainless ones due to potential dissimilar metal corrosion but not sure if standard steel or nickel plated ones are the way to go. I imagine 8.8 grade will be fine though thoughts on that would be good.

ARP S/S studs and nuts. ARP lube on the studs then install the studs finger tight. Then screw the nuts on and torque to the prescribed value while holding he stud with an allen wrench. Lets see, that was 2008 and the amount of leaks or additional tightening that would be once when I had the engine out to convert to dry sump. Do it once do it right and be done with it. Lee
The ARP's are real good.
I have also used PERCY's

one time, never again & use lube for install as the ARP
