Timing lights and MSD 6 CD boxes

Hi,

I'm trying to find a timing light that works with MSD or similar CD ignition boxes. My existing timing light fires a shot for every spark it sees...which is fine at high revs but when you get to lower engine speeds of course the multiple spark business kicks in and I end up with 3 or 4 images. Basically makes it impossible to read the timing tape.

I've had a good hunt about the net but only been able to discover which brands of timing light don't work ($400 SnapOn ones apparently have issues particularly with wasted spark ignition systems too unless you buy a special box - for $400 I'd expect it to tune the car for me!). What does anyone else use?

Hi Dave,
I have a Snap-On Gun which seeems to work fine with the MSD 6AL that I have fitted to my car, my engine builder uses then same one. Don't no the model/part no but i'll have look to-morrow if it's of interest?

Hi Dave,
I use the MSD timing light. It works fine. Bought it from summit racing I think.
