Stig's Can am build?

Does anyone know how this is going. His build site has been quite since 10 Dec.

Hi Andy,

Well, the build has errr... ummm.. (looks at feet etc.) not started!

Due to the arrival of a Stig Jnr. in May, I've been busy beavering away at home doing some building work that I promised to do about 3 years ago

That said, it's just about done now and the Can-Am build will be starting in earnest, maybe even as soon as this weekend (if not, then definitely the next).

What the downtime has given me the ability to do though is to do lots of thinking/research which should result in some new stuff that hopefully people will find useful. Not to mention the boxes of gizmo's and trim that I've managed to accumulate over the last couple of months Just got to make it all work

I think I've made it clear by now that I want this car to be as day-to-day usable as possible. One benefit of the building work I've done is an extension to my garage at home, which means the Can-Am can live there rather than in my rented workshop 15 mins away. I expect to be using the Can-Am a LOT more than I did the GTR in this regard.

I know what it's like my second was born last month.

I am a long way from purchasing my 1st kit car, but am working offshore at the moment to be in the position to have the spare cash around sooner rather than latter.

I found your GTR build very interisting and it got me to start seriously start thinking about doing my own build sometime. So have been keen to see your insites in the can am build.
