Clutch fluid overflow
Discussion
Hello gentlemen,
I've been driving the car now for a few days.
when ever I pull back into the garage I pop the front bonnet to put the charger on and check a few things and I notice that the clutch master keeps over flowing onto the floor just below the clutch master.
I top it off to MAX line and sure enough it does it again.
is the fluid boiling?
I wrapped all the clutch Hyd lines with gold reflective foil to avoid this. Is there a possible cause that I am not seeing?

That is most unlikely unless the fluid is highly contaminated with water. The fluid is very hygroscopic so may be the problem if the fluid is old. Brake/clutch fluid can tolerate very high temperatures (think how hot brakes get with "spirited" driving!) From where, exactly, is the fluid leaking?Gassing Station | Ultima | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
