Hi,

After 12 years of scaring myself, fun and spending way too much money I am thinking of selling my Ultima. The car is just not used these days and sits in the garage being run every couple of weeks but not used on the road. I spoke to Richard and he recommended a price but I was wondering what the ultima community thinks on a price and best ways to sell the car. Should I sell to a dealer, take the price hit but not have to worry about joy riders etc and if so who is recommended or should I sell privately?

The car is 2002 Ultima GTR with all the options including reverse sensors, Reverie Carbon side scoops, Carbon Mods front splitter, Side scoop side front brake vents (like on the new Evo) front and rear tow hooks, racelogic traction control with launch and option for full throttle gear shift (this is fully wired in and gives multiple slip angles as well as rain setting). LS7 with all parts supplied by AS or Factory with stage 2 cam and 650bhp and less than 500 miles. Car has been maintained by Charles Dunn over past 8 years and has made various modification to make sure everything works as it should!

All in a lovely car that has been well looked after and loved!

Thanks

Guy

What did the factory say?

Russ has had his for sale for a while - personally I don't understand why it hasn't sold as its a good one, nice details and good price.

Morning Guy,

Does the car have a lowered floor?

I might be interested, can you please e-mail me with the figure you are expecting - thanks.

Regards

I would think a drop floor was a given.

Advertising in the forums Guy? Tsk.tsk!!! wink

Best place is the classifieds - sold both of mine through them and potential buyers naturally come here because of the forum.

Good luck with the sale smile

i think he will Stig but understand the reason Guy wants to ask on the forums... knowing the correct price is important and getting feedback from on here is the right thing to do... i feel my car is worth more as its mine,, but doesnt mean everyone else does so if i advertised it at my price it wouldnt sell.
