Wanted! G96 Gearbox
Discussion
I have a 996 GT2 box with a cracked bellhousing as it was in an accident that will need some work that would be 'cheap' for one of these boxes (bearing in mind how much good ones of these go for).... I also have a GT3 cup racer box but I wouldn't let that go cheap.
Unlike the normal 996 these boxes are based on similar internals to the G50/52 and thus are rebuildable and parts can be got.
I also had a special CWP made to give these boxes 35mph 6th gear and a SQS sequential shifter for these boxes.... all high end best of the best stuff but given my mid engined cars on hold for a bit while I design a front engine car instead, I've been considering selling it all recently as I was prompted by an Ultima owner recently for hoarding bits lol

Paul Dixon and Can Am Dave have an SQS shifter. Paul has driven both manual and SQS and says that the SQS is his favourite. It will depend on your personal view of manual H pattern versus sequential. I have done quite a bit of research on this and will need to change the 5 speed 1988 gearbox I have for a 6 speed. I intend to make this change soon.
