Which battery is recommended for Ls7?

I have modified mine to use a Red Top 60 for plenty of cranking grunt.

Standard is Red Top 40.

I have a PC1100 and it turns an SBC with decent advance which I think requires more effort than the LS's.

Optima yellow top YTR 27 J Battery gets my vote.
Loads of grunt and spins my motor like a top even with a supercharger fitted.
Rated at 41 amps cranking and 66 reserve.

I'm another with a PC100 Odyssey, does the job well. Lithium battery technology is moving on, more and more Caterhams are fitting them - a massive weight saving, maybe in a few years they will crank a 7l V8 for road use.
