When I picked up the Ultima both headlight covers had been removed.
One headlight had had the margin around the lights scraped back to red gel coat, the other side was mostly black.
The perspex light covers were completely clear around the edge.

Anyway, the question is how are they normally attached so you cannot see the adhesive?

I have thought of painting the margins black and then use a little black silkoflex,
or paint them red and use clear silicone,
or screw them on with some nice fixings.

But I was hoping you guys might point me in the right direction?
Many thanks

Ed

ps or perhaps Ultima sell the perspex covers with coloured margins??

Correct, black margin is used and supplied in a primer kit form you tape and set the margins using non bleed tape from the factory the sika flex or similar bonding agent is then hidden beneath the black primer.

You need this for the black margin, use a tape that doesn't bleed, I used modeling tape from a model shop.
