At the holiday inn Spa I gave a fast Ultima trip to a guy in the bar for a charge of my Nokia phone
Half way through the trip, he stated that "this should have a semi auto box"
Yes I said but cost .. money, technicals .. etc
No problem I make them for BAR Honda ... we should talk ...

I email is on the way

Check this place out, www.t-sport.com/semi.html

They also sell semi-automatic gearbox for about $200-300 US. It's still in testing but they say it's worth the wait. I'm not sure how much hp does the gearbox can take but they'll probably have some that supports over 400 bhp.

That sounds cool, but what are the real advantages of a semi-automatic transmission, is that like what they use in nascar, where there is no clutch? (I think) Is it just shifting speed advantage, or what?

Get in contact with ProDrive in Banbury UK, they do a sequential GBX...but all i have heard is bad things from the peeps who own them, if you want sequential or semi automatic then Hewland are the only ones i know of who make one that will fit and work. But be warned, there is one out there in a GTR...and its never finnished a race yet....guess why...yup GBX failure every time.
Other manufacturers of Hydraulic assist ASM (automatically selected gearbox) gearboxes are Magnetti Marrelli of Italy as used on Ferrari 355, 360 and Astons mighty Vanquish...but ask the owners what gives them the most trouble again...Gearbox

Trust me on this...they aint worth the hasstle and at £30,000 for a gearbox thats tempremental...I DONT THINK SO.

There is a company that sells straight cut (non-syncromesh)gears for the G50 box. They would probably be bulletproof but really, really loud. They are also about 9500 USD by themselves which is about triple a used G50 box.
I could not remember the name of the site but I could find the magazine advertisement if anyone is interested.
