Rolling Road Tuning

Can anyone recommend a rolling road near the ultima factory who have experience and are capable of tuning an AS engine.

I see you have got the same sort of response that I got. I asked the same question about a year ago. It seems very difficult to find someone that can rolling road our cars and play with the Holley (or other American stuff). I asked Andy at the last factory open day and he couldn’t suggest anybody either. May be we need to ask the question to another audience within PH.

Seems strange that no one is willing to recommend a tuner. I cant believe that longterm owners are not having engines tuned at some point- or am I the only owner without an engine tuning degree.

Nope, problem is, the rolling roads either aren't strong enough to take the power or the operators haven't got a clue how to tune the engines up!

I had my GTR on Dave Walker's once, took 6 ratchet straps and 4 big blokes just to hold it on the rollers!

Too much reliance on ECU tuning these days

This is not near the factory, but ive had work done here before, not my gtr, it might be worth a call and a day out

I had mine done recently at Woking.

Very pleased with the results, but it's probably too far for you to travel.

I've been to Bob Watson Engineering(top top Porsche racing engineer) a few times now and had Peter Knight (everybody knows him) come over and tune it on the rollers. What those two between them don't know....
Well you know the rest.
Call either Peter or Bob and they'll set the day up. You won't be dissapointed.
