removing right gas tank from Ultima sport

Does anyone have an answer to removing the right gas tank from a ultima sport

I've not done it (yet..) but having built mine, I can't see a way that doesn't involve at least one significant bodywork cut and removal of a load of rivets. The centre section is completely bonded to the side pod

After the back half side pod is cut, de-riveted and taken off , IIRC the tank is held by a vertical threaded rod at the front and bolts through the back of the side pod in the wheel well, so it should be fairly easy to take out.

Someone whos actually done it might be along soon...

You should talk to the factory.
I think that there is a way by cutting a large part of the GF at the rear of the side pod in the wheel area.

I believe the easiest way as mentioned above is cut the rear wheel well/back of pod in from of rear wheel, remove rear wishbones etc then you have enough room.
A pita job though regardless, good luck with it.
