Hi Guys anyone had any experience of these:
https://www.knfilters.co.uk/x-stream.aspx
I have 350 SBC with Holley Carb in my Can Am. Is this upgrade worth the money?
Cheers

I have one. Bought for my 9" velocity stack when I was bringing in a load of parts from Summit.

I suspected that I didn't have quite as much filter area as I should so I thought one of these would be a good idea. Did no measuremnent so cant see if it makes a change either way.

Enginemasters did a test (https://youtu.be/EkpsydS8JXI) where one of these actually reduced performance when mounted on top of a filter, so I fear they be more of a gimmick...

I had one on my Can-Am on the basis that the lower canopy restricted airflow.

Was fine until carb backfired and set it alight at Rockingham! smile

Enginemasters are fun to watch.

It's on my list of thing to do to build a carbon 'box' on top on my velocity stack that will allow a big panel filter rather than a little 9" cylinder filter. I can then maybe seal it against the clam in an attempt to draw air through the top vent of the clam. However, I am pretty sure that low-pressure zone there at speed, so I don't know much of a good idea that is.

I might go for an elbow and different TB (I have Holley EFI ) and then take air out one of the side pod vents via a cone filter
