So I changed to rose joints and went to the track. After the first session I noticed that there was rubbing on the tire side wall an inch below the tire tread. I checked my shocks and they were set at zero clicks. I corrected and on my next session spun an engine bearing on the first run so I dont know if my correction to the shocks did the trick to prevent tire bodywork contact. I am concerned that somehow I increased the track (side to side) of the vehicle on installation of the rose joints. Any advise? Will your tires hit the body work if the rear wheels went vertical more than they should?

Mine showed evidence of rubbing in road use so I narrowed the return lip at the top of the arch. I only took off 2-3mm.

I also took some off the return lip at the top. Front and back. About 10mm at the top and taper it down to nothing on the sides.
I believe it's something the factory do as standard.

unless you change the geometry or add a wheel spacer I'd say your wheels shouldn't be rubbing the arches.
Harder shock settings may help stop it but it's not the ideal solution IMO.

I'd grind the arches back a little as steve says.
