How much space?

I may have found a space to build a Can-Am...

Is 500 sq. ft. a large enough area to build a Can-Am?
Can it be completed and on the road in 6 months?

Space enough if you plan your delivery of parts correctly.

I built my can-am in 9mths and that was around a 50-60hr a week job and doing professional exams.

All depends on how much time you are allowed to spend in the garage!

500 foot just perfect, can be done in 6 months if you buy all the parts from the factory. Not enough time if you want to do any thing much different. I spent alot of time searching / modifying mine. Good luck, this is when the fun starts, just you a rivet gun and a 3.3mm drill
