What Bar should the oil pressure be?

Run the engine for a while today to make sure all was well.

The idle sits nicely between 8-900rpm, water temp was sitting at 80 degrees but the oil pressure started at between 1-2 bar and rose to approx 4.

Is this right? I thought it should be the other way round.

mine runs at 4/5 bar when cold drops to a steady 4 bar when hot (3000 rpm) drops to 2 bar at tickover ,sounds like you are in the right area .simon
