The filming of the Ultima was to be a two day event, the first was a blast round an airfield, the second was gonna be a 200mph+ run. Day two got cancelled.
The Ultima in Question was actually running absolute Maximum rear wing, to make the thing vaguley drivable in the torential conditions and therefore would understeer like crazy, this was pointed out to Tiff, and he said he wouldnt mention it!

As I understood it, Tiff had a barney with his producer on the day and was in a bit of a bad mood, so was not too kind about the car. Actually, l met him at Le Mans with Derek Bell and Justin Bell when they were sharing a drive. The Bells were as friendly as could be but Tiff said nothing. Perhaps a group of scruffy blokes in the pits was not his thing.
