Can we setup a FAQ for the SVA/DVLA?

As my SVA is coming up very soon, I've been picking up various tips from fellow builders regarding what to do/not to do for the SVA.

Even today I was given a snippet of info that may well prove to be priceless but if I'd known it earlier in the build I would of done so from the start!!

i.e put a rubber spacer between the fuel pipe and any cables tie wrapped to it.

So can we start a SVA/DVLA FAQ to help us all??

Thats news to me. My sva went through without these. But these 'requirements' are variables. SVA inspectors will have a collection of different bees in their bonnets. It is so so variable.

I'm sure we can get the factory to contribute to.

As responses to this post could be sensitive may I suggest that anyone who can contribute do so by mailing me. I will compile a list and ensure it is only distributed to Ultima builders we know on this forum.

CJ could you consider setting a 'SVA FAQ' thread in the FAQ section with a link to my mail address.

Perhaps the Factory could also contribute in the same way.

In the Kit Car section there is a sticky with the SVA manual available as a pdf. download, this covers the lot! so maybe a quick 'checklist', as it were, would be a good idea, covering the areas where we know we will get 'pulled' on.
