Ultimas in the US

I've been reading about and researching Ultimas for quite some time now and the only thing I have left to do is check one out in person. I live in the US (as you might have guessed ) and they seem hard to come by. I was hoping someone out there might know of an Ultima (GTR hopefully) owner that wouldn't mind letting me take a look and maybe even scare the bejesus out of me on some roads . I live on the east coast so anything between Washington DC and Atlanta (I'll be there this weekend) would be great. Thanks.

Has anyone checkout the for sale page at the Ultima Club? There's a carbon fiber Ultima GTR for sale. They are offering it for 91k USD.

Yeah that's pretty interesting. I wonder if carbon bodies will become an option. At $93K US a factory built car would be a fair deal if the car were in the US. The "Ulitma USA" people charge around that much without engine and no carb fiber body.

Not really what you are asking for but my canam kit should arrive around Xmas. I am in Baltimore MD and if you want to see the components in person you are more than welcome to come by and check it out.

I believe someone is almost done a canam in the Boston area, maybe they will chime in.
