What size hose to connect fuel tanks?

I use a single holley blue sucking from both tanks using the -6 and going to -8 when they T.
This works because I had a -12 welded to each tank and used these as a balance bar (very effective) and allows you to use them as one tank ideal for my STACK dash.
I can send you photo's if you want.

PS wasn't I supposed to send you a pinacle? do you still want it?

Clive,
The problem may not be the -6 balance pipe. It will be slow, but it should still work ok. It may be the venting of the second tank.
Have you tried removing the fuel cap on both tanks and just filling one of them? Worth a try. Saying that, I'd be inclined to use a larger bore for the balance pipe anyway, just to speed things up a bit.
The other alternative is to just fit 1 big tank, like I have in my Mk4
