Off to the DVLA tomorrow to get the reg sorted, so depending on how long this takes will be on the road very shortly.
Just thought I would update you all on how the SVA test went.
Emissions were fine. Lights needed a small adjustment, but this was easily done. No problems with the brakes everything was ok, this was a relief after reading mclarke's post. The weight of the car with 2 full fuel tanks is 1,022kg. This was basically it, apart from 4 things on which it failed initially. These were, 1) brake pedals required a grippy suface (so used emery paper and evo stick),2)battery needed a 2nd isolation switch, 3)Speedo was inaccurate (this required assistance from Dave at Ultima, who thankfully had the correct setting, 4)The tyre rating was queried, but a quick phonecall to Andy at Ultima resolved this problem.
The pass may of been helped by the fact that it was the first Ultima the Norwich SVA centre had tested and were drooling over the car. I was very impressed with the guys there, they couldn't of been more helpful.
Can't wait to be on the road now.
