Tesco's claim their fuel is 99 Ron - never fill up there so don't know if I'm way behind on the gossip but do they really have an Octane Rating of 99 RON??

No, 99 is pucka (as pucka as anything at tesco gets)
Although, unless youre running forced induction, high compression or advanced ignition (or all 3) your'e unlikely to feel the benefit.
