Hi everyone,
I'm posting these photo's on behalf of Rich.F, please keep in mind that this is the first real opportunity we have hade to get any photo's of the car since it passed the SVA and was registered for the road.
Also the car was not polished before these photos and therefore does not look as good as it will do, and finally the photo's have obviously been reduced in quality and size from the originals.
Anyway, after saying all that I hope you all think it looks ok! Everyone involved in the build is very pleased with how it has turned out!
More to follow if people are interested.

I have fallen from my chair overcome with consternation. Really, how could you put pictures of such a dirty GTR on this board...I am apalled. Dismayed.
And, I think I see a fleck of something on the grass in the second photo, as well. In the background of the third picture, the source is revealed on the ridge of the neighbor's roof. It appears that a pigeon has missed it's genetic target; any clean, black car.

The car looks great. Well done.
My opinion - the silver looks the best, but silver and black would be deadly on the roads here. I live in serious SUV land, and by that I mean a Ford Explorer or a Jeep Cherokee are considered small cars. People here drive F-350's to office jobs, and use Licoln Navigators and Chevy Suburbans to go shopping. A Hummer is considered a "rich guy's daily driver".
So, I went for red. Bright and conspicuous.
Question though for the forum - how do you polish up the gel coat? I've gotten some very minor scuff marks from building the car that you can only see when light directly hits it at an accute angle, but I'd be interested to learn how to remove those.

A shiny car is nice, but a bit dirt does'nt hurt!!
its a drivers car! not only a show car...
they are very nice to look at, but even better to feel the raw power that give's you a big grin
...and then you don't care to much about the dirt or so

It was polished using meguiars but not on this occasion, it was simply wash and dry with shamy! however I was still impressed with the result especialy as the wheels were black from heavy braking oh and the flies, seems to attract lots of those. The engine is the chevy v8 5.7L, but it is a mere 350bhp which is still frightening!!!! I have another engine being changed from 275 to 450 bhp and hope to get this in over winter. You chaps with 500+ must have some B***s. Will hopefully be going to Donnington this year and would love to do Santa Pod.
