Been a member of pistonheads Ultima group since 2007. I try to remain engaged on this site, unfortunately the social media folks like F.B. better, so thats what I check every day. This format is far supieror to F.B The whole hiding posts and replys leaves me cold. I am a serious builder I want to know what everyone is up to and thinking and F.B. is really for folks that take ictures of what they had for dinner. I will continue to try to persuade folks to come back here but the F.B. format hinders anything beyond is was great tomato soap.
Well, I still look on here first, but sadly there seems to be a slight lack of reply/activity here. However, there is more tech info quite often here.
Next stop is a change to a Holinger sequential box, which then means the mapping can be upped to "more"
Hopefully the active aero can also be included in the upgrade.....sadly it all takes time

Evening all gents
I came to pistionheads mainly for ultima builds and the noble forum.
As I don’t own a ultima I can access the fb group and realistically I am 5 years away from being in a position to start a build.

I don't go on FB for the reason that they determine which post replies I am able to see... I do wish builders would post here a bit more on their progress, theres' always some great tips 
WOW some old boys still on here It is such a shame PH Ultima forum seems to have dropped off the edge of the world this was a fantastic mind for information if you were building a car or any issues, for meetings basically everything.
PH kinda took over from when John Castle used to run the paper Ultima Owners Club when he had that beautiful green and yellow Sports which unfortunately ended up in France like most of the early cars they ended up abroad.
Stoneleigh kit car show was full of Ultima's in the early days unfortunately the numbers of attendees have dwindled yet there are so many cars on the road ? I did my best to attract Ultima's to the Cholmondeley Pageant Of Power over the years with discounted tickets and a free camping site when I ran the car clubs but I think you guys south were afraid of nose bleeds any further north of Birmingham the most we had was 3 attend and one of those was mine.
I myself Love the Ultima having owned x 3 Can-Am x 3 GTR and x 1 Sports this site has helped me over the 24 + years with the maintenance repair and buying of my cars so I thank you PH.
As somebody has mentioned Unfortunately FB wont allow none owners to join so lets pop over to UOG and try to encourage some of the owners to perhaps mirror post over here as well see if we can re generate this forum

I have an RS I did a small part of build rivets panels and minor mechanicals then passed to professionals to finish as I knew it was going to take a prolonged time to srlc build can post photos of build etc if anyone interested
