The splitter above the radiator exit is an idea inspired by the C8 ZR1 Corvette. The headlights are from JW Speaker, and they are DOT-legal for low, high beam, turn signal, and running lights. The headlight bucket bodywork has been modified, and the plexiglass covers we made. The driving lights are Hella 90mm.

That's a better question for Corvette engineering because it's a copy of the setup on the new ZR1 Corvette. The splitter generates a low-pressure area over the radiator outlet, inducing more airflow at speed, which helps with cooling. In my experience with my GTR 1.0, cooling at speed was not an issue. GTR 1.0 was a 550 hp LS1. GTR 2.0 is a 675 HP LS based N.A. motor which will require more cooling.

thanks for the reply,
i have a ls7 tuned with 769 hp at 8000rpm. my problem is idle in traffic: after 15/20 minutes static at idle everything boils and the water goes to 120 degrees!
in track day no problem

I never got to a full boil on GTR1.0, but in hot, over 100 F it would get close to an issue. As you say once underway all was good. I havedone everything I can think of to optimise cooling on GTR2.0. Mezere water pump, keep cool fluid and lots more. We shall see this summer.

I tried to add an additional electric water pump, but it doesn't work. I put 2 fans on the water radiator that suck and two other fans that push but this doesn't work either! I also have an engine oil radiator with pump and fan but this only works for the oil temp.

Now I bought 2 RS fans with cmf twice as powerful as the originals and I will remove the fans that push air, let's see what happens.
Then I also thought of closing everything around the fan on the radiator (encapsulation) because they say it brings great benefit.
I also have the radiator with increased thickness (not aluminum).

I have the meziere mechanical pump. The fans are enclosed in such a matter that air from the entire radiator surface is sucked through the fans. Oil cooler in the driver's pod and transaxle cooler in the passenger's side pod. Running 100% Keep Cool instead of water. We shall SEE.
