just found this thread on LS1tech! looks as though there is someone else looking to make sthe LSx engines in to big block killers! take a look.

the major downsides i can see is they are using spacers to get the extra hight needed! these bring their own problems, but the company say there are no issuse with them! guess we will just have to see what they can do with it!

I know about these units from awhile back. The problem isn't just the decking plates it's also that there aren't any heads that can flow the air needed. I expect them to be a torque monster but stifled at the top end. Time for some boost me thinks

They are going to port LS7 heads. The other problem is the "mid-$20k" long block price!

i heard they were going to be doing using, yet another, spacer for the inlet manifold to allow the use of more conventional manifolds! boost on one of these would be amazing! and even centrifugal S/C wouldn't loose much at the bottom end thanks to the huge displacement! be really nice to see some fully worked LS7 or even worked World LSX heads on there (and a lille boost hehe)!!

what do you guys think about the spacer plates? i have seen them used on small ford engines (to drop comp. for boost) and the company says they run them on hondas (i think)!
