as I know the upper front lights are Hella units.
On the pics I saw at least the high beam unit is
modified (cut mounting lugs).
I use the same type but the Xenon (HID) version.
Can look for the Hella part numbers if you are interested.
The rear lights of the Technocar GTR are also Hella lamps.
Found all the lamps offered by Stafford Vehicle Components ,www.s-v-c.co.uk

Was on the Essen Motorshow today and saw the rear lights, both installed on the Ultima cars and as well on the Hella stand where they were displayed and functioning. They look great, especially the LED circle around. Look quite expensive, but aren´t. Perfect fit for the Ultima, as far as I can say. Sizes are perfect too, the nice guy from Technocars told me that it is no problem to fit them into the body. I will definitely retrofit them over winter.
Also their engine installation is very interesting and a very nice work. The Audi V8 is very short so there is more than enough space. I wonder whether the engine could be fitted to my current Getrag box, which seems to be much longer than the Audi box which Technocars use. Seems that they have done a good deal of development work, not only engine/box combo, but many other components incl. frame and suspension. Lot of interesting ideas and approaches, I wish them luck with their project!
P.S.: had a look at the Gumpert Apollo, too. Did not really convince me. Looks a bit "too much of everything". Gets your attention, for sure, but not your heart as the Ultima does (IMO). Especially the front is too short and a bit TT-like. (but in the end it is more or less an Audi, from what I understand)
Greatest looking cars IMO were Lambos - they had a Murcielago and a Gallardo cabrio side by side. Absolutely stunning.

Thanks Peter you solved a lot quistions about the lights and other new devellopments on the GTR and so they look that good in real life too?! nice to hear and hella got some more lights to sell at Ultima customers, and that way we got more better rear looks to see
The Gumpert Apollo is a bit strange annimal? looks strange and cool and you will turn your head to it, but it won't steel your heart like the Ultima does?!
Maybe when the wetter is better I will go on Sunday to see myself
How about all day walking around, did you get all the halls? can it be done or did you only look at the highligts, nice detective work you've done

you can do all halls in one day, no problem.
Great collection of sports cars (eg. a green Mosler MT900), but also lot of interesting classic cars (Porsche 917, GT40, Lambo´s, Aston Martin,...), and also great tuning cars (mainly German).
(and interesting collection of young show-girls, some of them with painted clothes only, it´s a real tuning event... Was there with my wife, therefore have photos of cars only...)

How much do you reckon a second hand 4.2 Audi Engine / Gearbox would cost? After some googling I can seem to find this out… I presume some tinkering would be in order as there 330BHP standard – I can understand why people sling turbo’s on them, presumably to push them upto a respectable 400BHP
The Dutch Spyker C8 with 4.2 audi engine does 400hp but put 2 turbo's on and call it the C8T end then they have a "save" 525hp audi 4.2 sounds good for me
What a second hand engine cost I don't know, it depends what tune state they are and how many cars had totall loss exept the engine? don't know that market.
And Peter thanks for the info! now I don't heve to be stressed while thinking how can I see most in one day knowing its possible.
Most importand for me is to see the Technocar GTR, and the Gumpert Apollo, and some other fast stuf and see what that can do with me when I see them, and take a good look at them at all angles, and feel if I get new ideas... when the weather is good that day I go on Sunday, cheers

Today was a long day with snow, but weve got there! to the Motorshow Essen Germany with lots of fast cars from tuners and carmakers.
And I saw the Technocars GTR and Can Am from a new player in the Ultima game...
Some facts, we talked about the rearlights and as someone else said who was there, they are realy from Hella! and the fronts too! and they look great.
I also saw that the Gumpert Apollo use the same rear lights! Hella, I've got some picture's of that, but I don't have a site myself so can't post them now...
