Ultima with two Suzuki Hayabusa engines

Anybody know if this car has been driven in anger yet ? Any info at all ? Would be intereted to know how it all worked together and how much power the engines produced.

What you mean nothing new? indeed this configuration is already a while on the net, but from anny testing I have'nt heard eather...mayby the chain brake everytime??

TBH, why bother?

You can fit it in a (tip of my tongue, the one with the lump in the bonnet) Lotus 7 clone with half the weight of an Ultima.

And you still end up with the synchronistion worries of the Wolfrace Sonic (seventies/eighties - I forget)

While the original Westfield SE can take a 5.0 TVR lump (barely!), it's not exactly common fitment ("welcome to understeer".

With so much room in the 'bay of an Ultima, why bother? (Obviously, I'm ignoring the totally justifiable "because I can" argument )

I spoke to Z Cars at the weekend at Autosports, they said the car is very very close to wheeling out of the workshop for some proper drives. very very soon meant within weeks rather than months.

But surely Z cars have been running this car for almost a year now, perhaps its does not work !!!

perhaps gareth, the guy i was speaking to did hint that things hadnt been going as planned but 'was' virtually finished.
