Help - Water pump fittings!

Does anyone know if you can get a right angle exit pipe for the heater fittings on the water pump? (RHS of the water pump)

The problem is, my new sandwich style alternator plates are going to foul on the hose, so I need to redirect it out towards the front of the car, so it won't get in the way of the bottom mounting spacer.

If you're wondering why my alternator is near the water pump pipes, it's because the dry sump pump is mounted where the alternator usually goes on the bottom left of the engine, and my current alternator setup mounts on the top right hand side of the engine, with the brackets mounted into the RHS cylinder head (3 UNC bolts).

Any ideas or names of suitable 'plumbing' suppliers?

This is what you want but I have no idea where I got it.
Probably from BGC Motorsport Components or Think Automotive. they may even have come from the factory.

That looks like it Steve, except that it's in the other heater hole that I need to fit it.

I guess all water pumps have the same thread/hole size?

Oh, before I unscrew it, does anyone know I need to drain some coolant first - to avoid a noahs ark situation!!!

Yes, but not much as it is pretty near the top of the system.

Hi Simon,

if you have the picture hosted on the net somewhere, you can just include the full url of the picture between a couple of pic tags

just remove the spaces from either side of the pic & /pic words to get it to work properly.
