Spotted - A27 towards Portsmouth - Saturday afternoon

Hi Guys, I love ultimas and happened to spot 2 (1 Red and 1 Yellow) heading westbound towards Portsmouth and then Southampton. I was just worndering if you guys were online here. I unfortunately was in my wifes renault clio so you wouldn't have spotted me, but I had just handed the keys to my Orange Lotus to her so that she could drive it to Bournemouth. I had to split at Portsmouth but I instructed her to go with the red GTR and give me some feedback. Okay, I have an alterior motive. She likes cars and if she enjoyed seeing the Ultima, she may just let me build one.

That was me in the Yellow GTR (peeled of onto the A3M North) and Kev in his Red Ultima Sports heading back towards Fareham.
We had just come away from Goodwood having failed the sound check. Kev wants to do a track day soon and wanted to know if it would pass. I tagged along just for the drive out.

Edit....If you want to see them again then join us at the Virginia Waters meet next Sunday. There may even be a convoy of those 2 and other makes heading out from Wickham square if you wanted to tag along.

What was the limit for the day? 98dB??? I have just got my Goodwood RRC membership invite through and was wondering how useful it would be? The only problem I have is that I am due to take up a job in LA for a couple of years so I probably wouldn't get a huge amount of use out of it.

·Crank, Scat 4340 forged steel, 3.75”, internal balance, Pioneer SFI balancer + ARP bolt.
·Rods, Comp. Products 6.00” H beam bronze bushed + ARP bolts Clevite 77 bearings.
·Pistons, SRP #4032 flat top, 5cc relief, Speed Pro plasma moly file fit rings.
·Complete rotating assembly balanced. Including - Flywheel, Clutch, Balancer & Crank pulley.
·Heads, AFR 210 Race Ready, 76cc, 2.080/1.600 valves, drilled for steam. FelPro #1014 gasket.
